Safe Fence | Couplers

Fencing couplers, also know as fencing clips, connect temporary fencing, both mesh security fence panels and solid steel hoarding panels, together. The two halves are pressed out of 1.5mm galvanised steel. The pressed halves are then fitted around the fence panels outer tubular frame and fastened using a nut and bolt slotted through the centre of the two coupler halves through a 14mm square hole.

To make sure that your temporary fencing is installed safely and remains secure we suggest using two couplers (double clip) for connecting the fencing panels together, although some do opt for only one clip per connection.

Maka : On some reviews it says that the wires aren’t really water proof and gets damaged really quickly. How can you prevent that from happening?
Karin Martin : Can a put the wire in a PC pipes?
Simon Bar : Big like
Matt Productions : I’m confused how this works. Does this shock them?
fabienne donnai : Hi, I have a small yorky that keeps breaking out so an invisible fence would be perfect. However, the device seems very big. Is it suitable for a dog of 3kg?
Kevin Hernandez : My dogs go really far from our house when they are loose, which is why I was wanting to buy and electric dog fence, but I am concerned if it will be strong enough to not let them go past the boundary?
Marsha Woods : How much is it
Seth Rosen : I have a few questions. Do you have a video showing the proper way to connect additional wire? My kit comes with 150m of wire but my perimeter is much bigger. And does the kit come with hardware to mount the receiver to the wall? Also, what about battery replacement for the collar how long do they last, and where can I get replacements.
Pete Sessa : In my particular place, I must loop the wiring back around to the sending station. Can two wires go in the same slot in the ground? Will this compromise the efficacy of the system?

How to Install a PetSafe® Wireless Dog Fence

Worried about keeping your dog safe in your yard? A PetSafe wireless dog fence may be the best option for your pet and there is no digging involved. Before you begin, select a unit that is right for your pet and your yard. This PetSafe fence is made for dogs over 8lbs. and covers about half an acre of land. Proper training of your pet is essential for the success of the pet fence.

Pick a location for the transmitter. The location must have access to an indoor power outlet and the temperature needs to stay above freezing. Locate it on the first floor of your house in the middle of your dogs roaming area. Large metal objects can interfere with the signal, so keep it away from furnaces and refrigerators.

Plug the transmitter in, set the boundary switch to high and set the boundary control up to 8. Install the battery in the collar. Activate the static correction signal, if desired. Set up the perimeter. Hold the collar where you want the perimeter to be, and have a friend turn the dial on the transmitter until the collar beeps. Place flags where the collar beeps to visually mark the perimeter.

Fit the collar on your dog, ensuring the contact points touch your dog's skin. Tighten the collar until you can fit one finger in between the contact point and your pet's neck. Properly training your pet to stay within the boundaries of your new wireless dog fence is crucial to your pet's safety and success in using the fence.
